Mr. YK Jain, an Electrical Engineering graduate from GEC, Jabalpur, has 24 years of strong contribution in India by introducing & implementing world best, ahead of time technologies & engineered solutions in the field of Energy (Thermal, Bio-mass, Hydel, Solar Power Plants), Power T&D (Smart Grid, Switch-yard & Substations upto 765kV, AIS /GIS) and Energy Management (Automation projects, Data-Centres, Building Automation etc.), as technocrat with World leading technology provider MNC’s like, SunPower (Total), Schneider Electric, ABB, Areva T&D(Alstom / GEC), Crompton Greaves.
In renewable, he has active contribution as technology consultant over 70MW special projects (Bio-Mass, Hydel & Solar) across India includes 1st 10MW Bio-mass commissioned in 2005, Turnkey Solar EPC (1st 12MW in 2010-11), 30MW of Tracker based Solar projects (1st time in India in 2012) and approx. 10MW high efficiency Solar rooftop / Net energy positive buildings projects in SAARC countries like Nepal, Sri Lanka along with India.
Beside his deep technical understanding of domain, his core strength is Communication skills and Bid Management (Tendering and contract Management) for product, projects and services to all sector (Govt, PSU, Private, Contractors, Channels etc.).
He is a sought speaker on various forums and has active interest in imparting traings on various technical and soft skills subjects and a qualified “train the trainer”.
His consulting work for Solar PV (Grid Connected / Off-Grid, Utility / Rooftop projects) on Personal capacity is recognized by Solar Quarter in their 5th Global Solar EPC Summit, by award “Individual contribution in Solar Project advisory” awarded in Hotel Radisson Blue, Dwarka, New Delhi.
