There are some Colleges which have a mandate of Maths especially for BSc in economics, but it is not compulsary in most of Colleges in Bachelors level. Whereas it is completely the opposite in Masters level ie. maths and statistsics is compulsary. It is better to take maths after 10th to stay in touch for Masters, since statistics is an important part of Economics in advanced level.
