Know when the CBT 2 exam of Railway’s NTPC Recruitment can be held

Railways will conduct Computer Based Test (CBT 2) for all shortlisted candidates. RRB NTPC CBT 2 is likely to be conducted in the month of May 2022 for which RRB will release the complete RRB CBT 2 array very soon. Around 35,000+ posts are involved in this exam conducted by Railway Recruitment Board and soon its admit card will also be issued by the department.


In such a situation, it is important to know how to prepare for the CBT 2 exam. In the exam of RRB NTPC CBT 2 questions are asked from three subjects. These subjects are- General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning. In the exam, questions are asked for 50 marks from General Awareness, 50 marks from Mathematics and 35 marks from General Intelligence and Reasoning. Total 120 marks questions are asked in this exam. Candidates will get 150 minutes (one and a half hours) to solve these questions.

  • Make a strategy to prepare for the exam:

Candidates need to work hard to crack exams like RRB NTPC. They should prepare for this exam by making a study plan. However, they can look into some tips for this exam.

  • Know the complete syllabus:

Students preparing for RRB NTPC CBT 2 must have complete knowledge of the exam syllabus. A study plan should be prepared to keep in mind the complete syllabus. Do not skip any part of the syllabus, prepare for all equally.

  • Prepare all subjects equally:

In RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam questions are asked from three subjects - General Intelligence & Reasoning, Mathematics and General Awareness. Students should prepare equally for all these three subjects. With good preparation, a good score in General Intelligence and Reasoning can be found.

  • Try to solve more questions in less time:

Mathematics questions are of the 10th and 12th standards. Prepare for Profit and Loss, Elementary Algebra in a good way. Candidates should try to solve a maximum number of questions in less time.

For the preparation of General Awareness, students should be aware of current affairs and events around the world. Students should read any national newspaper daily. Online news portals can also help.

  • Attempt Mock Tests and Revise:

Candidates should first assess their strengths and weaknesses. Students must do mock tests and revise the previous year's papers.
